Can you share with us a bit about yourself and your background?
I am a mum of two gorgeous boys who like to keep me on my toes. I was a systems and planning manager for 8 years but had a change in career path due to needing more work life balance to care for my 2 babies. My background is Distribution, Production and Customer Service all within systems.
What first sparked your interest in telecoms?
Telecoms is not something I have worked in previously but I have vast experience with in customer service, that I believed I could apply to my new role as well as learn new skills.
What attracted you to apply for a role at RPS Telecom?
I first seen the job advertised then did some research, I found that RPS always puts the customers needs first and they go above and beyond to provide a great service. As well as looking after their employees. I enjoy engaging with people and feel a sense of pride from providing services that enhance peoples businesses or lives, working for RPS allows me to do that.
What does your role involve?
My role involves overseeing the operations of the business. I am often the front face of the customer. I deal with their queries and assisting in ordering new equipment and services. My role also requires me to work closely with the other departments within the business.
What are you looking most looking forward to?
I am looking forward to learning new skills and gaining better knowledge of the telecom industry.
Where do you see the telecoms industry heading in the next few years, and how do you think RPS is positioned in that future?
I believe the telecoms industry is growing successfully especially introducing more women working within the industry. The future looks bright for RPS. Since starting here we have taken on many new customers and received positive feedback.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time? Do you have any hobbies or passions outside of work?
I am very family orientated, in my spare time I love to spend time with family including cousins and grandparents especially going on day/weekend trips.
I also have a passion for art so if I have any free time I love to get the sketch pad and paints out.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
I love to collect fridge magnets, my fridge currently has over 50 magnets from places I have visited or have been gifted from friends and family.
